Following the success of Kew Road, Hale Brown Architects completed our second Low Carbon Workplace project, for Stanhope and the Carbon Trust in March 2016.

 

The project involved the refurbishment and extension of a 27,000sqft corner office building, in Shoreditch. 

 

Usable floor space has been increased by over 10% with a new zinc-clad top floor and new mezzanine floors. The reception is clad in curved timber to reflect the old use of the building, as a factory for roll-top desks.

 

New Crittal windows and intelligent servicing helped the building achieve a BREEAM 'Excellent' rating.
